Fresh 48 Photographer

Everyone, please welcome baby Ryder to the world! Being a fresh 48 photographer in this day and age is still impossible because of COVID-19 BUT I get the advantage of already being there! This momma is also my best friend and I was listed as her support person to be in the hospital. Being a support person means I get to document Ryders journey to our world! Let me tell you their story.

This momma and daddy have been praying for this little guy for a looooong time and he is finally here. He truly is the definition of a beautiful rainbow baby. I remember the beginning of this journey like it was yesterday. I remember hearing the moment his momma was pregnant and the excitement in her voice. Finding out you’re pregnant is an exciting time but there is a different level of excitement when you have been trying and praying for a while for your bundle of joy. At this moment I was deemed the one who would document this journey for this little family.

I was there to do a gender reveal to all of April and Dales closest family and friends, I documented the maternity photos that are sure to make your ovaries clench, and the day came for April to give birth to Ryder and here I am in the hospital writing this blog starring lovingly at this perfect little rainbow baby that not only blessed his family but stole my heart as well. Pure love, I really get it.

For those of you who aren’t exactly sure what a fresh 48 photographer does. As a newborn photographer we get to go into the hospital (COVID-19 restrictions apply) and document those first moments of life with the parents, the newborns bath, weight, etc. You know the first moments that as parents you are swooning with love you sometimes miss. It’s those very first moments as a new family. You will just stare at the pictures with love and joy and think how did I create something so beautiful. Take the time to enjoy Ryder’s first moments like we all did.
