As a Maine family photographer, I love getting to go to all the amazing places Maine has to offer (particularly the rocky coastlines). I love going to the ocean, sitting on the beach, feeling the sand, and visiting all the amazing sights. Sometimes I get to travel to other places like back to my hometown in Nebraska. The best part about going back is getting to see all my friends and family I don’t get to see as often anymore, like this beautiful family the Jacksons.

Green House Family Photo Session

I love going back to see this family. Jessika, her husband Brian, and I have been friends for quite some time since before her twin girls (Avery and Morgan) were born! Now she not only has her beautiful girls but her spunky and silly little guy Parker, he quickly became my bestie. The Jackson family and I did their family photoshoot in a local greenhouse, this was a new experience for us all and what a great one at that. The girls just LOVED their little brother Parker and Parker was a stud letting his sisters chase him around, hold his hand and cuddle him to death. Let’s face it, we all loved it. 😉

It makes me so happy when people take the time to have family photos done. I know getting everyone coordinated and ready can be a hassle, but once you get there it’s a breeze. You enjoy yourself and the pictures come out amazing (even when you are trying something or somewhere new). I look back on this session and can’t help but truly miss this family. They have become a large part of my life. Seeing them all together happy and smiling really makes me reflect on how important family is and how important it is to capture these moments because they are ever-changing.
