How I got my start in Photography:

It all started after I took a photo of my best friend’s daughter.  People saw that photo and then asked me to take photographs of their children – from there a photography business was born!

What makes your photography different?

Many people enjoy my ‘whimsical appeal’ and enjoy the experience I create for them while taking photographs.

When I started my business I promised I would make the experience one that people wouldn’t forget! I like to spend time getting to know my clients and making sure they feel at ease throughout our photo sessions.  Now – not only do I run a great business – I’ve developed life-long friendships and clients continue to come back to me to document how their family has grown throughout the years!

  2. I love to travel! My passport is always up-to-date and my bags are always packed!
  3. In 2016 – I took a chance when I uprooted my life and moved to Maine.  It’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and I haven’t looked back since!
  4. I’m a full-time kindergarten teacher and do photography.

About my Family:

I’m an only child and definitely a “daddy’s girl” but my mom is my best friend.  They still live in Nebraska and I get back to visit them whenever I can.

What’s one piece of advice you like to give to parents when you photograph their bundle of joy?

Live in the moment!  And be natural, relax and have fun as this is when you get the best photographs – when you are nothing less and nothing more than yourselves!  And don’t worry = I’ve got it handled! ☺

What’s your favorite thing about being a photographer?

I love to see – and capture – that raw emotion you see when a parent looks lovingly at their babe.  Dad’s crying always get me too.

I hope you enjoyed getting to know a little bit more about me! If there is anything else you’d like to know – just ask!

Owl my love,
