2017 has been full of amazingness for many of us but particularly for me. I have had the privilege of meeting these absolutely amazing people (Nicole and Josh) and photographing their wedding. Our relationship developed from there and later this year Nicole asked me if I would perform maternity photography in Portland, Maine for her maternity photos. Of course, I said YES! So our new journey begins.

Whoever said being pregnant was easy sure was living in a fantasy world. Whoever said being pregnant is a beautiful experience was right on so many levels. No one shows pregnancy better than Nicole, she went through this Portland, ME photo session with laughter and a smile on her face. She and Josh lived in this moment and truly cherished it. This is after all the last few months it will be just the two of them before this beautiful baby will come and bring them more joy than they can possibly imagine.

          

Documenting Your Maternity Journey

There is nothing like your first love. There was so much joy and love in the room it was enough to share with the world. Nicole and Josh have been through a variety of changes this year and this little bundle has been the best gift they received. I am so over the moon and already can’t wait to meet this little one. He is loved by so many already and he has no idea yet.

What are the next steps after maternity photos? Well, it’s time to think about hiring a birth photographer.

Cherish and remember this moment for it is short-lived.
